Kyle tells us that realtors have no idea just how good places are like Twitter are for lead generation. To have a successful social media strategy Kyle suggests:
- Post the same content on twitter at different times of the day and watch engagement
- Ask for shares on twitter
- Test, Test, and Test more using a variety of keywords
- Have a defined plan for Twitter, Facebook and Google+ and use the platforms with native content
- Set your Key Performance Indicators and look at the data
- If you don’t yet utilize social—start now
- Have a personality
- Either create or curate content and customize to your audience
- Don’t be afraid to throw some advertising dollars to cast a larger social net
- A focus on key words will lower your pay per click costs
- Test $100 dollars with Google adwords and repost that same content on social and see where you are getting more engagement
- Get links back to your site even if you link to your own content in Twitter or FB
